Spring/Fall Sales

Fall Book Sale:  Oct 11 - 16, 2010

IF YOU HOME SCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN - You DO NOT Want to Miss This Sale

School workbooks will be displayed in Room 3, under the table that holds all the Romance Books.  We simply do not have anywhere else to put them out-we are using every square inch - wherever we can find it!

Our hunting and gathering has been VERY fruitful.  Please leave your donations beside the basement door.  If you live within a reasonable distance and have many books/cds/dvds for us to pick up, just email me below or give the library a call 323-0417 with your contact information. BUT...if you can wait until after the fall sale to make your donations that would be even better - namely after Oct. 25th.

We are 101% FULL!!

Apprx. 500 Westerns (dozens more are Large Print and shelved in that genre)

Five boxes of Law Books shelved in Non-fiction

WWII Histories and Biographies

Thousands and thousands of kids books - readers and non-readers:

110+ boxes of kids books from closing elementary school libraries in nearby towns (in addition to what we normally get!).  Most of the Readers non-fic from these will be shelved in the adult sections, lower shelves, ex. art, animals, biography, history, etc.

Foreign language is overflowing with Russian, French, Korean, etc. you name it, we probably have it (even Swahili & Icelandic).

AND we have tons of Computer books....(shall we save for the campfire?)

The list below is a sampling of ribboned books offered at the sale in the 'Specials' room. This room holds the Like New, Ribboned Specials, DVDs, and CDs.  These items must be paid for before removing them from the room. As you enter the sale go down the hallway to the right and into the first door on the right. Books being carried into the room must be checked with the clerk (like a coat check only you get a clothespin instead of a ticket).
