For this sale only, we will offer hundreds of African Art & Art History/Black Studies books from a local college professor's collection. There are many one of a kind, great condition books. Click on the button below to download a list of these books and pricing. Important! Due to new safety regulations there will be a limit of 30 people allowed in the basement at any one time. Once in, there is no time limit. This is new to us so please use your patience - we are all volunteers. A Friends volunteer will be stationed at the entry door to control the number of basement occupants. The entry line will still form as posted below.
We are now taking credit cards, as well as checks and cash.
At 2 pm a Friends volunteer will be inside the handicapped door in the hallway to distribute numbers to form the waiting line to enter the sale at 4 pm. A membership may be bought at this time, if not already current (check or cash). Please enter through the handicapped door down the ramp .NOTE: Boxes and bags do NOT hold your place in line at this sale. You must be physically present. For Monday only - one numbered ticket per person. Kids, friends, spouses, must all be present to receive their own number. Otherwise they will be at the end of the line upon entry. After picking up your number you have time to go have a cup of coffee, a bite to eat or a nap before being back by 3:45 to get in line down the ramp for the sale opening at 4 pm. Special priced (ribbon) books are shelved in the children's room with the Like New books or beside the cashiers.
